More than one in five A&E patients at Forth Valley Royal Hospital have waited more than eight hours to be admitted, discharged or treated. That's according to figures from Public Health Scotland. 7.3% waited twelve hours or more, in the week ending 6th July.

Lottery cash is giving two community projects a boost. Alloa Community Shed is set to renovate Marshill House with a £185,000 grant, creating a new local hub. Meanwhile, Polmont Community Hub will use its £82,000 award to improve its space for hosting events.
