39 students and 4 staff awaiting boarding for our trip to Berlin! It’s been a very early morning but students are in good spirits and excited for a great trip ahead!

First flight completed to Amsterdam - awaiting takeoff now to Berlin!

Landed in Berlin and en route to our accommodation- students are tired but have been excellent and patient on a long travelling day so far

Day 2 in Berlin part 1: a moving but enriching experience at Sachsenhausen Memorial with a brilliant guided tour

Day 2 in Berlin part 2: visiting Berlin Olympic Stadium. Students loved going in the stands (some Leeds chants were tried) and seeing the impact of the 1936 Olympics

We have also celebrated a birthday - and a big one as Niamh turns 18!! Everyone sang happy birthday and had some sweet treats

Quiz night in Berlin including a round on Berlin, German words and “know your teacher well” - controversy as the post 16 boys pip the post 16 girls to the victory

Day 3 in Berlin - lots of walking and public transport today as we visited four museums/memorials. The Berlin Underworld tour, Berlin Wall Memorial, Checkpoint Charlie and the Topography of Terror. Students have been fantastic, curious and sensible all day, even with tired feet!

COUNTY CHAMPIONS AND REGIONAL QUALIFIERS 🤩🥰 Incredible day at the CTC County U15 Girls Cricket Qualifiers! They won their semi final by 1 run vs Kettlethorpe and then went on to beat Allerton Grange in the final! We will now attend the Regional Finals at Ampleforth College 🤩

🚨 The Year 8 residential to PGL has officially begun! Group 6 are kicking things off with the trapeze — flying high already! 💪🎪
