I had the pleasure of presenting “Leadership Actions to Accelerate Learning” to two attentive audiences today at the Horizon “Back 2 Basics” 2025 Summer Retreat! It was a great day of networking, learning, collaborating, and reflecting.

The Stone Mountain Elementary School Team Stone Mountain ES is rejuvenated and ready to plan for the ‘25-‘26 school year! Bonnie Almand GaDOE School Improvement and I look forward to supporting this dedicated team in their school improvement efforts!

A colleague from Dekalb DeKalb Schools, GA shared this with me this morning, and it reminded me of how blessed I am to share school improvement actions with teachers, administrators, and district leaders! It is truly my pleasure to serve. Thank you Dekalb for a great retreat!

The look on my face when I saw I was quoted in a book written by Nicole Law, Sonja Hollins-Alexander, Dominique Smith, and John Hattie! Took me back to my days when I served as an Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning! Heart work! I’m honored!
