Our Youth Advisory Panel were busy on Friday evening, using a 3D printed model of the new Block A floorplan and furniture to indicate their preferred youth space layout and create colourful murals for the windows of the new Base

If you want free ice cream come and talk to the Alton Renewal Team ! Public drop-in event outside Alton Community Hall (Bessborough Rd)on Saturday 21st June 2025 for local residents to see the emerging plans for the Alton. Ice creams and face painting from 12 noon.

Our Access & Inclusion Steering Group met to discuss plans for block A & the play space. They felt inspired by potential uses for the community hub & are looking forward to collaborating further on shaping this vibrant new space that will serve the community for years to come.

Early in June the community came together to make Origami butterflies as part of Voices of Wandsworth. Yesterday we were welcomed to the Family Hub to see them flutter gracefully from the ceiling. The butterflies will fly there over the next few days #WAF2025

Despite it being the hottest day of the year so far, over 130 people came to see us on Saturday. Some came knowing nothing, some came with trepidation & some came with enthusiasm. All left feeling positive about the future and happy to have a free ice cream on us.

Thank you to residents from Harbridge Avenue, Kingsclere Close and the affected Danebury Avenue areas who came to have their say yesterday afternoon on the plans for the future of housing, shops, community and open spaces and to discuss how the plans will affect them
