Busy morning in Forrest school today, chopping wood, lighting fires, making pancakes, what an experience.

Congratulations to our KS2 mixed boys and girls hockey team yesterday who came home with gold medals at the School Games competition. Thank you Bromsgrove HC for hosting. Well done to our sports leaders too who helped support the KS1 and KS2 events throughout the day 🏅🏑

Superb ski trip last week in the Italian Alps with a group of our year 8 pupils. They all made great progress throughout the week exploring different parts of the mountain putting their skills to the test. Many stories to tell and many memories made. ⛷🎿⛷🎿

Thanks to Mr Evans for arranging a brilliant visit from local TikTok personality @poppy_cooks. Poppy is a previous pupil of ours and she talked to KS3 about her career so far and online resilience as part of the Alvechurch Alumni Project.

All of hear 5 have enjoyed a fantastic water experience at Worcester University Lakeside Campus this week taking part in some Raft Building, Kayaking and Water Safety course. 🚣‍♀️🏊‍♀️

Thanks to all our local feeder schools who attending our Sports Transition day this week. Great to see so many keen and enthusiastic young sportspeople ready to join us in September. Our year 8 leaders were fantastic too and really stepped up to make the afternoon run so well.
