A new semester and a new group of students for library orientation!

I ❤️having our SPED classes visit the library! Today they enjoyed a reading of The Snow Thief and made traps to catch the thief!

🐾 MATCH THE TEACHER TO THEIR PET! 🐶🐱🐍 Guess who loves me? 🤔💕 Students put their detective skills to the test and match the adorable pet to the right teacher! This may be my favorite passive library program we’ve had this year! 😍🐾

This was a great resource to use with our RTI classes! Sometimes students just need a little direction to help them find the perfect book!

💌✨ Spreading the love at Rockvale! 💕 Students can grab a sweet note and share it with a friend—because a little kindness goes a long way! 💖

✨Our library was buzzing with creativity this afternoon! Students had a blast designing with Perler beads—so many fun, colorful masterpieces! Can’t wait for the next creative session! ✨

🚪🔐 Love was in the air… and so was MYSTERY! 💘 Today was a first in the library—designed and hosted a Valentine’s Day Mystery Escape Room for an Algebra 1 class! 🕵️‍♂️💡 Equations + clues = one sweet adventure!

💡 Excited to try something new in the library! This March, student volunteers will record book talks, and I will add QR codes to their recommended books. 📚🔗 A fun way to promote peer-to-peer reading & student voice! Can’t wait to see their picks!

Jumping into the magical world of The BFG with our structured settings class!

We had a blast using National Geographic Brain Games video clips to teach main idea & supporting details to our RTI classes today! Engaging, mind-bending, and packed with teachable moments—our students were hooked!

🔬🧩 Escape room fun in the library today with Anatomy & Physiology! Students are racing against the clock to solve medical mysteries using their knowledge of the human body. Love seeing them think critically & collaborate!

One trip around the sun later… 👩‍🏫📚 Tried coaching, rocked high school library life, and now I’m heading back to elementary! 😂📖 Excited to join Kittrell as a 💙 Blue Devil! Thanks to my Rockvale team for the laughs & the funniest farewell cake ever 🎂🤣 #BlueDevilBound
