After my first semester in graduate school, I’ve learned from others that a PhD isn’t just about science. The recipe also calls for a handful of crushing doubt, mixed with a pinch of hope and a dash of excitement, all wrapped up in duct tape. 🍻

When I was an undergrad I did a lot of microscopy work but not a lot in the wet lab. It’s funny how incredibly stoked I was to learn Western blots this week. I think people think I’ll stop being pumped as I go but those people haven’t known me long. 😆 #newgradstudent
