And in addition to being cautious about AI, I cannot emphasise strongly enough how important it is to read research papers right through, to understand sources of bias & what the researchers actually said. The myth that children need pathogens is nowhere supported in evidence.

Important point here about the need for multidisciplinary design in research & review. Indoor air quality research is a key example of how science can go wrong when critical domain expertise is not in the room. #IAQ needs engineering + epidemiology + IPC expertise just to start.

And some ask how well does the intervention work in usual conditions ("pragmatic"). If it "doesn't work", the authors should be able to suggest why, & improve practice.
