Yes. Writing is not a second thing that happens after thinking. The act of writing is an act of thinking. Writing *is* thinking. Students, academics, and anyone else who outsources their writing to LLMs will find their screens full of words and their minds emptied of thought.

Where ā€˜open borders’ policy collides with consequences. Relocating illegal migrants from hotels into houses within neighbourhoods disprivileges British citizens on housing waiting lists. It has to - Starmer can not deny it.

The UN has chosen a trans woman to be the ā€œUK championā€ for women’s rights. A man… Representing women… At the United Nations. This isn’t progress. It’s parody. When will this delusion end?

Terrible indictment of our times. A very ill mum died despite phoning an ambulance & her daughter with Downs died probably through starvation. They were not found for months. Not a tragic situation it's about the breakdown of our services & communities nottinghampost.com/news/nottingha…

Paul šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø You would never say something like this in front of me, because if you did, I’d tip you upside down by your ankles and shake the disrespect out of you. You’re a weak little man hiding behind a screen, mouthing off like you’re clever. You don’t talk about women like that. Show

Horrendous... The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has published Central Government net borrowing figure for June - £20,245m. The decline in the state of the public finances continues and Labour seems incapable of tackling it. As a comparison, the June figure in the 5 years pre-pandemic averaged £7,833m.

The SDP has made a submission rejecting a proposed new definition for Islamophobia. The proposals will stifle free speech, harm social cohesion & are unfair to other religions - they must be stopped. See our press release nowā¬‡ļø sdp.org.uk/2025/07/22/sdp…

This is how much we as a country value the lives of vulnerable people. Those MPs who voted for #AssistedDying think this country safeguards and values vulnerable people, this is not true. This case is just another damning indictment of a culture of complacency and indifference.

Calls for help were heard but not acted on. No one checked behind closed doors. It is not safe to be a vulnerable person in the UK.

Logically, asylum seekers should be housed in the constituencies with the largest Labour votes - since they probably contain the highest proportion of 'refugees welcome' sympathisers.

Three Epping residents. All of them thoughtful and articulate. Plainly not 'far right'. When folk such as this, in a usually sedate English market town, are getting angry, trouble is brewing.

Hello IKEA UK IKEA makes us scan our own shopping, then scan the receipt to leave, then stop us again for a security check. If you don’t trust the self-scan system, just bring back staffed checkouts. Customers shouldn’t do all the work and feel like suspects.

A society that forces unpaid carers to hold up signs just to ask for rest is a society that’s failing. Sleep isn’t a luxury. It’s a basic human need. Why is no one in government calling out this abuse? #ProtestFromHome #GiveCarersABreak
