So fabulous to see this work, led by my always encouraging & supportive supervisor Dr. Tertia Purves-Tyson, now published. Our data is the first to suggest that stress signalling is altered in schizophrenia in a brain region not typically considered to be 'stress responsive' - the midbrain!

Natalie Matosin Amber absolutely smashed her data blitz on her work looking at stress-related changes to the spatial localisation of hippocampal cortisol receptors in psychiatric disorders!! Can’t wait to read her thesis in the coming months! 🔬💭

Big few days at #CINP_AsCNP2025 in Melb this week!! Natalie Matosin smashed an ELA symp with NeSTED collaborator Cristiana Cruceanu. Tamim Ahsan shared his omics work as a Feat Comm, while katrinaedmond, Sophie Debs and Amber each gave a fantastic Data Blitz!!
