The disease/disorder claims of Addiction are fiction. Its time to wake up. Sharing life, hope and the uncomfortable truth with you. I'm not an actual atheist.

The recovery process and especially 12 step probably do more harm than good. This "I'm X days sober" actually indirectly promotes the belief that you're "powerless" over drugs. The greater of number people believing this exacerbates the belieg.

Substance Use, Eating and Alcohol Use disorders don't exist people. The psychiatry profession slaps any ol' "disorder" on a person and then just calls it a day without addressing the person and their reaction to life's circumstances.

Exactly. A "recovered addict" is a striking contradiction clear as day and yet these "addicts can't seem to use the common sense to recognize that you can't recover from something that supposedly is "out of your control".

I'm not a politician or anything but I've always found that the people who speak down on America are the ones who never leave. :/ 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Freedom from alcohol doesn't exist because alcohol can't trap you in the first place. Someone who loves themself would eventually realize this truth.

Freedom from addiction doesn't exist folks. Therefore, it cannot be "achieved". What's eventually done away with is the FEELING that you can't go on without substances. This is clearly not the case as proven by many methods.

Substance Use Disorder doesn't actually exist. Some people just need a scapegoat for their issues. Also, there's stigma to avoid, so this disorder label helps out a brother or a sister.

Its not that black and white for someone to just give up drugs. But its also not that black and white for someone to give up this habit or that habit. DB's can only argue that drugs leave a stronger impression on the brain but a habit remains a habit. There is no disease.

Addiction is a habit. Not a disease. Grok can't account for the fact that addiction lacks typical attributes of diseases, requires the direct permission of the agent in order to persist and responds to incentives. Not all addicts are crappy people but some definitely are.

Welp there you have it folks. Grok eventually ran out of ways to argue his original arguments and now it agrees with me when I say that addiction is a habit and not a disease.
