DDD seminar, Tue. Nov. 19, 2024 @ 1PM Eastern US: Anchel de Jaime-Soguero (ULB, Brussels) "Developmental signals control chromosome segregation fidelity during pluripotency and neurogenesis by modulating replicative stress": nature.com/articles/s4146… (carlocolantuoni.org/seminar)

🚨 🚨 🚨 Job Alert! I am currently opening my research lab at IRIBHM Jacques E. Dumont Université libre de Bruxelles in Belgium and I am seeking for an enthusiastic PhD candiate to study cellular stress across mammalian development and lineage specification! If you are interested, info below. Please RT!

Gracias Pilar Perla y Heraldo de Aragón por esta entrevista de nuestro trabajo en el lab de Sergio Sergio Perez Acebron , Heidelberg.

1/2 Early development requires fit cells. Following @MTorrescnic & T. Rodriguez, led by Joshua Frenster we've developed a #gastruloid model #CellCompetition biorxiv.org/content/10.110… that recapitulate cell competition as in the embryo & open up experimental possibilities

Happy to see this out in Bioarxiv. Tremendous work from Joshua Frenster et al.! And looking forward to discussing the (complex) relations between cell competition, signaling and genome instability, indeed!

This Thursday (May 8th), please join us for the next Western VGZT🌙 Our speakers are: 👉Anchel de Jaime-Soguero Embryonic signals regulate chromosome segregation fidelity across lineage specification 👉Emmanuel Haillot Mesoderm & endoderm formation in the diploblast Nematostella vectensis

Delighted to share our recent study now out The EMBO Journal; embopress.org/doi/full/10.10…. We characterized the hematopoietic niche in adult spleen, a lesser known host for hematopoietic stem cells.
