Not everyone can get to the Anderton Boat lift to hear about the amazing history or see the lift in action; So Dave & Simon visited Daneside Court in Northwich with some pictures from the lift's incredible history & delivered a presentation about the lift #AndertonLift

We plan to start our Boat Trips again from Saturday 12 April ⚓ Our 150-year-old lift is currently receiving some TLC so whilst our visitors won’t be able to see it in action, you can still marvel at the Cathedral of the Canals aboard the Edwin Clark on the Weaver Navigation! 🙂

I'm back from the Steam at the Lift rally at Anderton Boat Lift & Visitor Centre, brilliant day! First rally in years. Shame the lift’s shut, but amazing steam engines & boats. Great to see the The Danny Steamship there as well. Credit to all the volunteers involved! Fred Dibnah would be so proud.
