If you needed a reminder that race results are the smallest part of cross country... Anica Gannon, a senior at Wahoo, chose to compete at State on Friday despite unexpectedly losing her mother, Amy Gannon-Warren, earlier this week. She was one of only four girls on the Wahoo

Due to the projected weather for state cross country, times have been adjusted.

Over the next couple of weeks, 11 different high school track and field meets will take place around the state and the region, giving Kansas athletes plenty of opportunities to compete ahead of the outdoor season. This weekend was originally supposed to kick the 2025 campaign
