When I served as a high school science teacher - this training revolutionized my teaching practice. The greatest beneficiary of this skillset was our English Language Learner students. A great set of strategies across all subject areas to achieve Academic Equity! #equity

Each student walking down the hall deserves eye contact and a positive greeting. This is an easy way to model 'adulting' for our students. #edchat #education

So true— in the 90’s we took notes when someone was speaking — to not only actively listen but to internally process. This graphic takes it to the next level. I think we need to regain the “active listening” part of communication.

We are not positive because life is easy. We are positive because life can be hard. Give yourself (and others) grace. Speak life and encourage others. Look for the good today. Remember your WHY. Believe the best is yet to come.
