Today I met Post Offices Minister Gareth Thomas MP with Jeff Smith We discussed our petition. Almost 2,400 signatures opposing the closure of #Didsbury and Harpurhey Post Offices. The key points: importance of retaining the staff expertise and the full services on offer.

Some good news. Manchester City Council will bring a school crossing patrol back to School Lane #Didsbury connecting Beaver Rd, Didsbury CofE and Beaver Rd Juniors after a campaign by local parent Alba who contacted me with a 600 signature petition. Recruitment process now open!
