I went to a gig and it was rather good!

A new Jonathan Coe novel is always a delight. The Proof of my Innocence wraps formal experimentation & a history of neo-conservativism in a murder mystery set in the time of Truss's ludicrous premiership & comes out with a real page-turner. Funny & thought-provoking.

Looking forward to this a lot.
