Excited to share a new harmonization method with applications in neuroimaging, huge thanks to advisors Russell Shinohara and Haochang Shou for the mentorship and PennSIVE for the support

Everyone of #OHBM2020 interested to present/visit #OHBM2020Posters in a video session - consider this centralization page with a separate Jitsi (AMAZING FOSS project) room per each poster datalad-datasets.github.io/ohbm2020-poste… . I am off to bed, but Germans are about to wake up - send PRs

Great talk yesterday by Haochang Shou ! Our CovBat harmonization method with Russell Shinohara is featured at #OHBM2020 as poster #1249, viewable online andy1764.github.io/OHBM/Removal-o… and the updated preprint is here biorxiv.org/content/10.110… #OHBM2020Posters

Today at #JSM2020, Haochang Shou presents work with Andrew Chen and Russell Shinohara in "Correcting Batch Effects in the Covariance Structures of Spatially-Dependent Multivariate Object" 🧠

Just out in Human Brain Mapping, a new harmonization method called CovBat! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/hb… CovBat addresses batch effects in mean and covariance, which we demonstrate in neuroimaging data. Huge thanks to my advisors Haochang Shou and Russell Shinohara at PennSIVE

Now out in NeuroImage, we find that scanner effects can impact community detection on brain networks. Luckily, there's a couple of harmonization methods that can help. Shout-outs to Haochang Shou Russell Shinohara Dani S. Bassett Ted Satterthwaite PennSIVE sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
