Excited to be granted the Hong Kong Green Tech Fund (GTF) to develop a #photocatalyst panel system for #greenhydrogen and #solarfuels. The HKSAR Government has set up the GTF to provide focused funding support for R&D projects which can help Hong Kong decarbonise.School of Energy and Environment, CityUHK

I am deeply honoured to have had many wonderful mentors, colleagues, collaborators and students that enabled me to be on the Clarivate for Academia & Government #HighlyCited2021 list. Great support from School of Energy and Environment, CityUHK CityU Hong Kong. #photocatalysis #solarfuels. See the full list bit.ly/3qEBjxg

While we spend a lot of time thinking about singles (atomic catalysts) pairing up can still be interesting! Congrats to Prof Lee and team for their work Nature Communications on single-atom Ni-Co dimers H2 evolution electrocatalysis! Ashwani_Kumar ā¬ ļø Ph.D. Fowllowme nature.com/articles/s4146ā¦

Our Perspective on catalyst design for hybrid systems is out in ACSEnergyLett Two steps back to take one leap forward! Partcat@unsw PJ Cullen pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acā¦

Really happy to see this Perspective published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Lett š. Polarons have complex implications for photocatalysis but state-resolved pump-probe spectroscopies can help us distinguish the energies and dynamics of individual processes! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acā¦

Our recent study on SMALL reported the strong metal-support interaction between Cu metals and oxygen-deficient TiO2, which results in lopsided local charge distribution, polarising the adsorbed N2 molecules for better activation. Thanks Yun Hau NG CAREnergy_Lab@CityU! (onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/smā¦)

Thrilled to share that our work is selected as the front cover by SMALL (Wiley)! Together with Wahyu and Yun Hau Yun Hau NG CAREnergy_Lab@CityU, we investigated the strategy to better activate #nitrogen molecules for #ammonia synthesis.

Our work on investigating the effect of selective CoOx cocatalyst deposition on dual-faceted BiVO4 (BVO) for #photocatalytic application is now available in @MaterialsToday. Read more: doi.org/10.1016/j.mtenā¦. SEECAT LAB Yun Hau NG CAREnergy_Lab@CityU UNSW School of Chemical Engineering

Happy to share our latest Nature Communications work on BiVO4 for #photoelectrochemical #watersplitting (rdcu.be/cXY8u). A wonderful collaboration with Fatwa Firdaus Abdi, Roel, Aijun, SEECAT LAB and other colleagues. SolarFuels_HZB School of Energy and Environment, CityUHK QUTmaterials

SEECAT LAB just joined Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) as an Assistant Professor.

Does anyone else, when thinking of polaron hopping, kinda imagine Frogger? I know itās more complex, but I canāt help it. Congrats to Prof Ng and team SEECAT LAB Yun Hau NG CAREnergy_Lab@CityU for their work Nature Communications improving PEC water splitting over P-doped BiVO4! nature.com/articles/s4146ā¦
