Euspilapteryx auroguttella and Fomoria septembrella mines on St. John's-wort in my garden today. I only sowed the seeds earlier this year! Possibly only the 4th VC 61 record of E. auroguttella? Lots of Gypsonoma oppressana mines on black poplar at work today. Also a couple of Lyonetia clerkella mines on pear. It's extremely abundant this year, but I think this is the first time I've found it on pear. #teammoth Charles Fletcher Butterfly Conservation Yorkshire

Hi @vc28wildlife, Andy Banthorpe & David Shenton, any thoughts on these Coleophora cases on sea purslane please? I believe that some species can't be distinguished from their cases, but some can? Some are clearly trivalved, but some aren't. Thanks! #teammoth Charles Fletcher

A few recent VC 61 #leafmines: Stigmella viscerella (elm, 6th record?), S. betulicola (birch, 3rd record?), S. assimilella (aspen, 5th record?), Coleophora potentillae (bramble, 3rd record). No migrants in my garden though. #teammoth Charles Fletcher Butterfly Conservation Yorkshire
