Well worth reading this article by Dr. Charles Corr tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10… it is the most detailed review of ‘the five stages’ and critically and respectfully reviews the difficulties with these somewhat simplistic models of grief - and yes you can read the full article online.

Hallowe'en and All Saints Day were typically times of remembrance. To honour this, we will be holding a social media campaign all next week. I Remember will be a chance to share a photo and a memory of a friend or family member who has died. #IRemember dyingmatters.org/page/i-remember

When did crying become so full of embarrassment and shame? It’s a necessary biological process, yet many grievers spend great energy containing their tears so as not to make others uncomfortable. Never apologise for crying. Let them flow. #grief #crying

Around the world, different cultures and faiths have ways to remember the dead. This #Halloween, Dying Matters is asking: Which of our loved ones do we want to bring to mind so that they are not forgotten? Who is it that you want to say: #IRemember? dyingmatters.org/page/i-remember

A few words I thought could help others understand someone’s Grief. Please help me adjust to my new normal. I might on days not want to face the world, but please keep asking me. When the funeral is over, this is when I need you the most. #grief #OpenUpToGrief #NGAW19 #poem
