This country is still sexist. Very heavily sexist. And it’s within the Democratic Party too.

Very bad political advising if a major news source has already notified your campaign of this and you choose to remain ignorant and silent.

Whether he wins or loses is a sign of how white people were able to gentrify New York politics while dismissing the concerns of Black and Jewish people. That not going to spread within the party nationwide. All politics is local.

But see that’s how it is here in California… Lots of Latinos voted for Trump and by proxy deportations… It doesn’t matter how this state counts electorally. They set their own community on fire. And all I can do is watch. I don’t have an extinguisher.

A lot of times I think everyone expects Black people to put out Republican fires and we don’t have a fire extinguisher for Trump this go round. Y’all are really on your own. All I can do is watch it play out.

So trust that when I drive by Home Depot or I notice the taco stands are gone all I can do is move on with my life. Cuz I don’t have a fire extinguisher to Trump.

Too many of them have already gone on social media and said Black people need not apply or advise so I’m staying out of it. Cuz Black people were the only constituency to consistently oppose Republicans. We didn’t vote to oppress anyone. We can’t help the others this time.

It doesn’t matter how California votes electorally because support of disastrous candidates like Trump overrides and empowers individuals no matter what state you’re in. Empowering a party like republicans to enact harm on your own community is nothing short of diabolical.

Civil liberties and freedom don’t exist in perpetuity. Black people aren’t going to sacrifice ourselves for everyone again. We too have learned a lesson and y’all should have never wanted us to learn this lesson in the first place.

Other communities of color as a WHOLE don’t understand civil liberties were fought and won from BLACK people (NOT BLACK IMMIGRANTS). They do not exist in perpetuity the longer these communities continue to align themselves with white supremacy.

Folks wasn’t lying when they said LA traffic is super easy these days. Drove to downtown there was NO traffic…wild. Went near union station and It wasn’t busy at all.

You can definitely tell that traffic is light in SoCal and that the streets are emptier… It’s weird.
