Proud and humbled to share our recent paper on Nature Communications! It's such a thrill to see the paper finally out! Huge thanks to my PI Paola Romagnani and to Elena Lazzeri How does the kidney adapt to AKI? #polyploidy #AKI #CKD 👇 nature.com/articles/s4146…

You did a great work LetiziaDeChiara finally clarifying that the kidney after an AKI fastly recovers function by polyploidization of tubular cells but these polyploid cells later become senescent driving CKD! Thanks also to fantastic work of Elena Lazzeri

Excited to share our last work on JASN_News. Genetic diagnosis of kidney diseases is feasible, cost-saving and extremely important for our patients. Thanks to Paola Romagnani Luigi Cirillo Valentina Raglianti Gianmarco Lugli Viviana Palazzo Samuela Landini LetiziaDeChiara

Thanks to Luigi Cirillo work we could establish that early use of whole exome sequencing during the diagnostic process, when applied in the context of our workflow, can even reduce the costs for diagnoses
