I did a couple raw milk posts this week, and a frequent comment was: “if babies can drink raw milk, why can’t adults?” It shouldn’t need to be said but: Human mothers are NOT cows. Human milk is NOT the same as cow milk. NEVER give a human baby “raw” cow milk.

Aw jeez, not this again. According to this consultant, hospitals now *lose* an average of $304,312 per physician per year. 🤦🏻 Guess it’s time for another thread on Budgetary Gerrymandering.

A common refrain I hear is: The current children vaccine schedule has “too many vaccines, given too soon.” The truth: current schedule, despite more vaccines, has a MUCH LOWER “immune burden” than previously. In 1980: 3041 targets In 2000: ~125 targets immunizebc.ca/sites/default/…

If you are gonna keep pushing to employ physicians at the large health systems, this is whats coming. Be careful what you wish for health system CEOs Nearly 400 primary care doctors at Mass General, Brigham and Women’s hospitals file to unionize. boston25news.com/news/local/nea…

Running Medicare and Medicaid for over 100 million Americans isn't like hosting a daytime talk show. Dr. Oz is another rich guy who doesn't care if your health care costs go up or an insurance company denies you coverage. These decisions have life and death consequences.

We only get to reach an age where chronic diseases are a problem if we aren't eliminated by infectious diseases in youth. Just saying. #VaccinesWork

Since we're talking about funding of absurd research by NIH and other federal agencies, the funded scientists: - watching flies fuck - giving rats massages - spending years digging into why jellyfish glow - tracking penguin poop from space - using horseshoe crab blood

The so called “pro-family” speaker of the House blocked a rule for new moms to be able to vote by proxy after giving birth. That’s his way of saying new mothers shouldn’t be allowed in Congress in case it wasn’t clear. He wants you home with your baby.

Correcting revisionist history: "COVID is not a problem for young people in the US" Covid responsible (not "with", underlying cause) for 2% of all deaths <20. That's 1 out of every 50 deaths of all kids who die. #1 in infectious diseases, 5th in disease overall. /1

If people read the young reader book Race Against Death, and saw how death stalked the children of Nome, AK in the guise of diphtheria; if people read Jo's agonizing bout with smallpox in Bleak House, or the grief-stricken letters of bereaved parents, they would not, COULD not

RFK Jr. is directly responsible for exacerbating a 2019 measles outbreak in Samoa that killed 82 people, mostly kids. Proportionally, that would be a measles outbreak in the US causing 134,031 deaths in mostly kids. Is that acceptable? RFK Jr. is a danger to society.

For those who are still confused or in denial, masking in healthcare settings saves lives! Study: Stopping masking & testing was associated with a 25% increase in hospital-onset respiratory viral infections, and resuming masking among staff was associated with a 33% decrease.

ACCURATE VACCINE MESSAGING FROM THE CDC 😱 Influenza can be a very serious illness. We already have one death in my state this flu season and it has barely started. The flu vaccine is a very beneficial layer of protection! It is not a magic bullet for stopping flu.

New rule: ANYONE that uses the word toxic about a substance or exposure must include at which dose and route of exposure and whether that applies to humans. Yes -every media outlet - I am looking at you too. Example: water is TOXIC if you drink 5.2 liters at once.

I spoke with a reporter about their complimentary coverage of Calley Means & RFK Jr. that omitted critical details about their anti-science grifting. Their response? “We aren’t the resistance” We aren’t asking you to be the resistance, we are asking you to be factual.

The capacity to detect and respond to outbreaks like these has been supported by U.S. investments, in countries all over the world. CDC teams are providing assistance in DR Congo As they have for nearly every outbreak in recent years Including the ones you haven't heard about
