The first therapy for SOD1 ALS was passed through the FDA! As someone who has lost family and friends to ALS and has done ALS research in the past, this feels like a huge win for science. Tofersen | The ALS Association als.org/navigating-als…

I had an incredible time presenting my work at Northwestern’s Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences Symposium and learning more about their cutting edge research in rehabilitation after SCI. A huge thank you to the Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences program for inviting me.

I really enjoyed presenting my work on the immunohistochemical labeling of degenerating axons after spinal cord injury at the Neuroscience Department’s Graduate Research Seminar. This is a ventral root with a degenerating axon labeled with EnCor Biotechnology Inc.’s MCA6H63 antibody.

This week’s #BREATHESCI lab spotlight is on Associate Director, Dr. David Fuller’s lab (Dave Fuller), where they’re investigating whether delivery of hyperoxia (increased oxygen) to the injury site can mitigate neuropathology caused by spinal cord injuries. #SCIAwarenessMonth

A big thanks to Kelsey Peterson and everyone who joined us for tonight's screening of "Move Me," a documentary following her journey after a spinal cord injury. Peterson hosted a luncheon with MBI postdocs before the screening and led a Q&A session with the audience after.
