"AI agent" still suggests something far off to most of us, but many are starting to ask chatbots to browse to research a problem. The chatbot is an agent there, carrying out multiple steps and reporting along the way. We're getting used to more active AI assistance...

I find that if I'm working with Claude and ChatGPT on text that includes statements about AI, they will both maximize any positive spin, more or less within the limits of my directions.

Anna Mills, annamillsoer.bsky.social, she/her This is actually strangely relevant. LLMs are definitely "intellectually" overqualified for most positions but can't do anything useful on their own. Kind of like many PhDs - whose usefulness to the world does not stem from their degree.
