Has Keir Starmer said anything about the Casey review yet? The PM was chief prosecutor from 2008-13 and needs to explain how thousands of cases fell through the net on his watch. Does he still believe those who called for this inquiry were jumping on a 'far-right bandwagon'?

Politicians are now so powerless they are changing laws and introducing new legislation just so they can be seen to be "doing something". Perhaps it was inevitable they'd set Britain on a killing spree, decriminalising abortion and pushing for assisted suicide.

750,000 more people claiming disability benefits, largely driven by ‘mental health’, within 5 years. How on earth will this be stopped? People are going to start wondering what the point is of striving, when the rewards are then handed to many who could work but choose not to.

Miliband is driving up costs, now the highest in the developed world, with Net Zero. Then he's compensating and subsidising bills, encouraging people to use more. This is expensive, incoherent and unsustainable.

This is not just the sort of protest where paintings are sprayed with tomato soup. Spraying paint inside engines is sabotage and could put lives in danger. If they catch the culprits they should be looking at 15 years in jail.

They’re resigning over reforms which will still see us spending £20bn *more* on disability benefits by the end of this parliament.

More bureaucracy, more staff employed to report rather than do anything useful. 450,000 people work in HR in Britain, and now they want restaurant compliance. And they wonder why productivity is so poor and growth so slow.

This is the problem with diversity hires. In addition to guaranteeing you don’t get the right person for the job, you also tee whoever is appointed up for failure.

So companies will be forced to pay staff 20% more. Only in indolent, entitled Britain would this be considered something to celebrate.

A couple of years of simply uprating the state pension for inflation would save more than the aborted PIP changes. And nobody would experience a fall in real income.

Hard to imagine a worse anniversary week for Keir Starmer. The welfare 'reforms' are a shambles, the NHS 'plan' is a damp squib, and now Zarah Sultana is jumping ship to form a party with Jeremy Corbyn.
