@GeoffsNZViews St Jacinda doesn’t give a continental. Otherwise in her nine long years in Opposition worrying about poverty she’d have had something to offer. But no.

Our farmers feed the world and Kiwis are better off because of it. This Government is ignorant to farming's importance. National backs our farmers.

"I've got a very clear view, gangs aren't friendly motorcycle clubs who simply go out for Sunday afternoon rides, they peddle misery in the form of drugs and violence" - Simon Bridges newshub.co.nz/home/new-zeala…

Amazing to see history made in Parliament today. Debate on a bill to close loopholes in the Crimes Act preventing Female Genital Mutilation has been agreed. It is in the name of four women representing National, Labour, Greens and NZ First, for the first time in NZ.

I am more concerned that Shane Jones is reported to have called the farmers gathered at Parliament ‘immigrants’! Aren’t we celebrating Tuia 250 by honouring and acknowledging both Maori and European migrations?

Tragic time here in Whakatāne. Our thoughts are with the families of all who are affected. Our thanks go to our heroic first responders and the staff of White Island Tours who risked their own lives to save visitors to Whakaari.

PM gobbledegook re benefit adjustments! National raised benefits $25 a week. She hated it then, clearly can’t even match it now!!

Sorry for retweeting again but this riles me so much. A privileged MP earning $160k salary telling small business they should have been better prepared financially to be shut down for weeks. No idea of reality for most SMEs. Do share

Always difficult to lose such dedicated officers who are working to keep their communities safe. Our thoughts are with their families and colleagues.

With my family this morning at the end of the driveway standing at dawn for Anzac Day. We want our kids to grow up understanding how important it is to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our way of life. We will remember them.

I cannot believe this budget borrows against my grandchildren’s future to fund pet projects - it is too damn serious for nonsense like funding evening classes in Basket Weaving and Gardening in the Wind!

I worry that having got rid of any measurements of effectiveness this Government is now back to counting success by how much money they spend!

My heart goes out to the police family at this tragic time. Our thoughts are with you all as you mourn the needless loss of an officer just doing their job to keep us safe.

I was very proud to be in the Speakers Chair last night to pass this important legislation that broke Parliament’s rules by being in the names of 4 women from 4 different political parties. The power of women working together for women!
