Recently I paid a visit to the FAST radio telescope, the largest dish antenna on earth. No portable electronic devices are allowed so I used my 1960s Nikon F with manual exposure. The resulted pictures turned out to be much better than I expected!

Ready for 20m

I made a Skeleton Sleeve Dipole this week with 450 Ohm ladder line and a coax choke. It’s dual band and cut low in the band for weak signals. The 6m element is driven but 2m is a parasitic element. I made a few local contacts but hope to test it on some 6m #POTA soon. #HamRadio
