I have been struggling with the question of what makes me happy. It is not easy to point at it, but am sure I will get there soon!!!

I thank God today. The year 2022 has been a hectic and busy one for many of us and I hope 2023 will be less troubling and more peaceful. We should also strive to care for nature for our survival depends on it in many ways.

We should all be kind to one another in these stressful times.

Today I had the opportunity to share my expert reflections on community involvement in Natural Resource Governance and Conflict related to wetland conservation representing Salesforce For Africa. The event was organized by Makerere University under the ECCR program.

A world without wetlands is a world without freshwater and where there is freshwater humans will be in real health problems. Let us save our wetlands!!

As a wetland conservation and restoration enthusiast, I call upon you citizens of the earth to make decisions to manage well the remaining natural ecosystems, especially wetlands.

Today as we celebrate the International Wetlands Day, let us do it on purpose to change the current trend of wetland degradation and conversion to other purposes and support wetlands to play their natural roles of giving us goods and services.

Somewhere in Northern Malawi learning about how the locals live their lives and manage their environment and how that relates to communities in Uganda. We Africans have a lot to learn from each other for the betterment of ourselves.

While on my way to the Eastern region of Uganda, I had time to make a stopover and marvel about this great Nile bridge.

Friends, we are all human beings with essentially the same interests, desires, and problems. So let us handle each day as it comes!!!
