Excited to announce that our work has been published! Using #TaiwanBioBank to show that vascular risk factors did increase risk of #stroke in #NOTCH3 mutation carriers! #CADASIL

Excited to announce that our paper is now published on Stroke AHA/ASA ! Study from #Taiwan EVT registry (TREAT-AIS) showed standard-dose #alteplase had better functional outcome than low-dose in patients receiving bridging #thrombectomy. 😀 ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/ST…

So many new trials focusing on #END. Would you use tirofiban or DAPT for non-cardioembolic stroke to prevent early neurological deterioration ? #DAPT #Tirofiban #RESCUEBT2 #ATAMIS #TREND #Stroke

Good news! Thrombolytics and endovascular therapy for #AIS are being used more frequently in the US, with better outcomes. Lower mortality, lower length of stay, more discharges to home. neurology.org/doi/10.1212/CP…

Check our latest study of #PACIFICSTROKE showing the prevalence & risk factors of hemorrhagic transformation in noncardioembolic stroke. Great opportunity to work with and learn from Ashkan Shoamanesh Eric_Smith_VCI among many other leaders in the field! Hopefully more to come!

New study alarm ‼️ Happy to share this results with researchers from 🇹🇼 🇯🇵 🇰🇷, that IV thrombolysis can be safely applied in patients with #CADASIL !

Enjoy the 3rd #CADASIL meeting in #Paris last week. Meet renowned experts and teams around the world, enjoy their talk, present our data, and revisit Paris is the best!

Check out our latest work on Stroke AHA/ASA showing that MRI-detected hemorrhagic transformation (HI1 & HI2) does NOT lead to worse outcomes. Great opportunity to work with Ashkan Shoamanesh Eric_Smith_VCI again! ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/ST…

Publication alert ‼️ Excited to collaborate once again with the #PACIFICstroke team to publish on Stroke AHA/ASA Higher sensitive MRI-detected HI1&HI2 does not worsen outcomes; plus, #DAPT is safe in these patients.

Publication alert ‼️ Our work from #NTUH and French CADASIL team is out in Stroke AHA/ASA now! R544C and hypertension independently increase ICH risk in CADASIL, with additive interaction and partial mediation. R544C may be a pro-hemorrhagic NOTCH3 variant.
