Today, Rwanda officially launched the Climate Smart Agriculture Investment Plan (CSA-IP). Hon. Minister Mark Cyubahiro Bagabe, PhD emphasized that the plan aims to attract investment particularly from the private sector to make our agriculture more climate-resilient, productive, and sustainable.

#RwandaAgriShow2025 Meet Olive Mutimanama, a farmer from the YAHOPROC Cooperative, Ngoma Sector, Rulindo District . Olive expressed gratitude to APEFA for providing irrigation equipment to the cooperative, which has enabled them to water their vegetable and fruit crops.

Yesterday, through JADF Rusizi District , APEFA’s Director of Programs, Protais HABANABAKIZE handed over a total of 60 iron sheets to two vulnerable families of Genocide survivors (1994 against the Tutsi), in Nyakarenzo and Gashonga sectors — 30 sheets per family.

This act is part of our broader mission to restore dignity, improve housing conditions, and support the most vulnerable. APEFA remains committed to impactful community-driven interventions and promoting resilience, healing, and social justice. 💚🌍 #APEFA #NeverAgain 2/2

Today, in partnership, with CECI RWANDA , we concluded a 2-day training of youth in school environmental clubs, and mentors on tree nursery management, group management, and financial literacy for sustainable fruit orchard management, that held at Ayabaraya TSS, from 25-26 June.

“Five Fruit Trees per Household and Youth-Led Orchards Across 5 Districts of Western Rwanda " Funded by GAIN, APEFA has successfully established fruit tree nurseries. Seedlings will soon be planted on homesteads & in youth-led orchards to boost nutrition & restore degraded land.
