I’m feeling very fortunate for my project from Vetenskapsrådet to be funded last week. My project will focus on local adaptation strategies of filamentous Cyanobacteria using multiomics techniques. We will hire a PhD student during spring so keep your eyes open if interested 😊

Crucial new paper: Planetary Boundaries science provides clear evidence that we cannot solve the climate crisis / stay within the 1.5°C limit without returning to the safe operating space within Biosphere boundaries. We need to consider all boundaries together to safeguard Earth.

It was amazing working on this cool paper with JB Raina, Justin Seymour, Maeva Bruner and others. The paper sheds light on the chemical partterns that drive chemotaxis across the bacterial domain NYUAD Research NYUAD Science NYU Abu Dhabi Moore Foundation nature.com/articles/s4146…

Glad to share our paper revealing that inland and coastal waters, while covering <10% of Earth’s surface, contribute ~20% of global nitrogen fixation! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… National Oceanography Centre IRD.fr
