Two incredible scholars, two PhDs! Huge congratulations to Dr. Natalie El-Eid and Dr. Unna Yared for defending their dissertations this past year. Their research is shaping the future of Arab American studies, and the field is stronger because of their brilliance and dedication.

The wonderful art exhibit at the Indianapolis Arab American Community Fair was curated by local artist Salma Taman and students in my Intro to Arab American Studies.

My first on-campus Introduction to Arab American Studies class surprised me with an impromptu end-of-year celebration. Seeing them co-organize the Arab American Community Fair with other community members was a highlight of my career.
