All set up for a day of recruiting at Arbroath Market in Victoria Park. The cadets are all away helping other stalls but we will get a photo of them soon 🙂 Come and visit us to see what the Volunteer Cadet Corps is all about.


Tonight we visited Arbroath fire station and brought donations to help restock their food bank. They gave us an insight into the role of a fire fighter and delivered their summer safety message. Our thanks to SFRS Angus for hosting us.Great to engage with our local community.

Last weekend at HMS Collingwood Open Day one of our cadets had great fun exploring, especially getting to see Royal Navy Bomb Disposal & Hampshire Police. It was a fantastic day to explore HMS Collingwood and watch the field gun teams compete!

Today marks the anniversary of the 1929 Gillingham Fire Disaster in which Royal Navy Cadets from HMS Pembroke RNVCC perished along with Scouts and Fire Fighters during a fire fighting demonstration. We Will Remember Them. volunteercadetcorps.org/royalnavalcade…


Last Sunday our latest recruits ‘passed out’ for duty with the CO of 45 Commando RM attending as Reviewing Officer, accompanied by the RSM. Several awards and promotions were also made, our first Banner was presented, and we held a raffle to raise funds for the Scott Sutherland Project


Last night, our cadets spent some time with 846 Naval Air Squadron who are visiting RM Condor for a few weeks. They were lucky enough to see inside a Merlin helicopter and be given a brief by the aircrew. Our thanks to the team at 45 Commando RM and 846 Naval Air Squadron for the opportunity.

Today Arbroath Division RMVCC were honoured to attend the Falklands Memorial at Barry Buddon. Thank you to the Families of the Fallen & RMA - The Royal Marines Charity for welcoming our Cadets. We will remember them.
