I'm honoured to be joining the otherwise prestigious lineup for this Friday's Barbican Centre Architecture Foundation #ArchitectureOnStage "Public Housing Manifesto", joining @clairebennie to discuss ideas for the delivery of public housing under a new government. barbican.org.uk/whats-on/2024/…

"This level of poverty breeds hatred, breeds resentment, breeds every kind of social ill. Every kind of social ill is exacerbated by inequality." Kate Macintosh being the absolute show-stopper of tonight's Architecture Foundation housing manifesto.

Brilliant evening at Architecture Foundation’s A Public Housing Manifesto event tonight. Ten thought provoking presentations/provocations setting out how the next government could deliver a new generation of public housing and improve our existing homes.

What an amazing and inspirational evening at last night's Architecture Foundation Barbican Centre #ArchitectureOnStage where we had a chance to discuss the future of public housing—and I shared some ideas about how London's golf courses might be better used for the public good.

Thanks to everyone—more than a thousand of you!—who came along to the brilliant Architecture Foundation #PublicHousingManifesto debate on Friday night at the Barbican Centre. Here's a brief summary of my slides (🧵).

I've recently been made a contributing editor of the Architecture Foundation's London Architecture Guide, a terrific resource, and free to download & use: architecturefoundation.org.uk/londonguide. My first 10 entries are now live, so here a thread to keep on top of my additions.

I'm very much enjoying this thoughtful program from Architecture Foundation and matthew blunderfield:
