OMG, it's coming back! This is not a drill! Cannot wait for series 3 Leeds Museums & Galleries 😍👏

This week we took a dive into another one of our large collections and picked out some great images for you. A recent archive enquiry led Errin Hussey to explore the collection of Bernard Meadows (1915-2005). #FFTA

In this week’s #FFTA Archivist Errin Hussey brings you the collection of Anthony Hatwell. Hatwell was born in 1931 and studied post-WW2 under David Bomberg at the Borough Polytechnic, now London South Bank University London South Bank University - LSBU

Royal College of Art Leeds Art Gallery In the archive we hold lots of pictures and sketches in the Toft collection as well as correspondence and personal papers. The archive is now open and we look forward to seeing you there soon. You can book an appointment through our website: henry-moore.org/archive

After a lovely warm week Errin Hussey brings you a #FFTA exploring a sculptor heavily influenced by the natural world. Today we're looking at our Ivor Abrahams archive collection. Abrahams (1935-2015) made sculpture, ceramics & prints & is best known for his garden scenes

#FFTA is back this week & Errin Hussey is looking at artist John Joseph Bunting, born in London in 1927. He went to North Yorkshire to Catholic boarding school Ampleforth College. While there he met Robert Thompson, the founder of a furniture company in nearby village Kilburn.

For this week’s #FFTA we are celebrating the birthday of our very own, Henry Moore! Born on this day in 1898. Our sister site, Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, down in Perry Green, Hertfordshire, is the home to the Henry Moore Archive.

In central London, a stone's throw from last week’s ‘Spirit of Trade Unionism’ sculpture, is the British Museum An iconic piece of sculpture is proudly displayed above the large entrance pillars: 'The Progress of Civilisation', by Sir Richard Westmacott (1775-1856). #FFTA
