5/31 at the local. I listen to the same few playlists when I'm driving, but every time I do so, I wonder if I should've made another playlist of things just so I have something new to listen to when out. Every time though, I'm too lazy to actually add more music. Cursed laziness.

25/38 at the local. Yesterday was my first time playing Apex properly. The first actual time I played it, my games ran at an inconsistent 20 FPS cause it takes up 60 gigs. But now that I can play, I can still have 0 skill in shooters, but have fun doing it with buds.

5/35 at the local. Ever heard of reserved parking? You pay a monthly fee to get a parking spot while everyone who takes care of their money cries that there's nowhere to park, so me pretty much every night I go out. It's maybe the worst idea corporate has ever come up with.

4/21 at the local. I'm starting to think SNES games are the most timeless of any console, at least the first party ones. Pick up and play any of the main Nintendo published/developed games and almost all of them will have aged like a fine wine. Shoutout LttP, DKC, and SMRPG.

3/31 at the local. Metroidvania is a genre I highly respect. The premise of most and the aesthetic of them are always cool, but only a week ago did I decide to force myself into playing one. Gotta say, worth it so far, Super Metroid was solid and I started HK, and having a blast.

2/24 at the local. That damned traffic light again. It decided it'd be funny if it turned red again, when I'm on the opposite side of the intersection this time. Little did it know I still won this interaction, because I could turn right on red. Fuck you, traffic light.

3/16 at the local. Driving on highways again, I'm reminded of the most beautiful scenery I've seen driving, from a place you may not expect. When moving to AZ, I had to go through Kansas, and it had the prettiest field views you could imagine. State is underrated on that alone.

3/37 at the local. Time flies by too fast sometimes. It's only a week until I'm across the country again to hang out with a bunch of homies, and last time was only a year and a half ago. Hopefully these travels can happen more often, I treasure these weeks/weekends a lot.

97th/1,024 at Riptide. This weekend was my first time having Five Guys. Gotta say, it left a really good first impression. I'm never really a burger person when it comes to fast food, but these hit in just the right way. Add that to the catalog of places to go on the regular.

3/18 at the local. I'll be getting a new phone soon, as I'm switching providers. Can we talk about no headphone jack real quick? They ditched them from devices for years and now when phones have them it's a feature. C'mon, no phone life is complete without tangled earbud cords.

17/43 at the local. Hollow Knight review: 8/10. Presentation and story, they knocked out of the park. However, the gameplay has a few holes and many regular enemies/bosses are poorly designed conceptually, and the charm system is a bit too limiting. Still had a good time with it.

5/62 at the local. Getting a haircut and styling it makes me wonder if I'm gonna go back to the snapback hat life. I have two hats I really like and used to wear, but now I like what I'm doing with my hair currently. Maybe I'll just turn into a snapback enthusiast, like Leon.

3/23 at the local. My backlog of games to finish is growing. I'm doing my best to play catch up, but I have one big issue: I play RPGs. I want to burn long sessions on playing them, but playing a game competitively has me questioning how to split my time. The life of a gamer.

2/25 at the local. I've been showing my friends what it's like when I really get into a JRPG. We all started on FF14 a week ago, and I don't think I've had a session last under 8 hours. It's quickly become a favorite of mine, instant recommend, especially as it's free to try out.

3/73 at the local. Thanatophobia. Are we really better than other species when we can think at such a young age about what death is, what could happen after, and that we don't know what happens? Would having that knowledge be more frightening, or would it calm us? Send tweet.

5/29 at the local. The days are beginning to get colder here in the desert state. The lower temperatures are welcoming...for now. Reminds me of my Ohioan days, except Midwest climate was the worst thing ever. Here's hoping it doesn't last very long, I want a good Fall season.

9/33 at the local. A couple days ago, I found a gaming chair on the opposite side of my apartment complex, an upgrade from my shitty office chair. Some months ago, I also found a large office desk at another dumpster in the complex. This is the true power of dumpster diving.

7/32 at the local. That's it. That's the tweet.

I go back on Twitter for one day. Spittin though.

Some rounds we just don't want to play defense, and that's okay.
