This Children’s Week we would like to highlight our new Broadening Horizons program, in collaboration with PROJECT ROCKIT , which will help over 5500 vulnerable children safely connect with others, navigate difficult online experiences and learn about respect and empathy.

Ardoch is thrilled to see this recognition of our volunteers and acknowledgement of the role they play in supporting the education of vulnerable children. Our CEO, Kylee Bates, is looking forward to her contribution on the Victorian Government’s Volunteering Strategy Taskforce.

Today over 1000 students from Ardoch partner schools had the opportunity to hear astronaut Colonel Chris Hadfield share his amazing experiences in space. Thanks to the generosity of AMP for coordinating this incredible STEM program.

This week is NAIDOC Week which celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Ardoch is proud to partner with Didgeridoo Australia to provide children with connection to the indigenous community and their culture.

Last week the Ardoch team were excited to see our Literacy Buddies again during the end of year virtual visit. It has been a fantastic opportunity to help our Little Buddies with their literacy development, especially after such a difficult year for students around the country.

Today we hosted many of our supporters for our 2020 Friends of Ardoch Event. We had the privilege of hearing from the Grattan Institute’s, Julie Sonnemann and our CEO, Kylee Bates, who shared the amazing achievements of the Ardoch team during one of our most challenging years.
