Wonderful to work on this research - we found that while employers hold positive intentions, there are gaps in knowledge and organisational processes that would facilitate hiring of autistic people.

Really pleased that our meta-analysis on prejudice confrontation (Dr Sofia Persson Mel Simmonds-Buckley) has been published in Psychological Bulletin. We find that confronting prejudice is an effective bias reduction strategy (but there is more research to be done!): doi.org/10.1037/bul000…

Had a lovely research day at Uni of Birmingham today – so lovely to see familiar faces and to catch up with my PhD students in person! Aren’t coffee catch-ups and academic chats with a little sunshine just the best? They’re definitely one of my favourite parts of academia 😊
