Arlington Rotary's partners, AFAC and AHC will serve on the task force to address this ongoing critical need through development of short and long term strategic plans. Last year, our club raised $6,000 through a special appeal that was split between AFAC and the Bayou Bakery's.

Congratulations to Club Treasurer Laura Hill who was featured this past week on WJLA-ABC Channel 7 with "Advice to Moms" for Mother's Day. The news spot included a shout-out to Rotary and the message: "When we give to others, we are a great service to others as well."

The Arlington Rotary Club bought $1500 worth of books from R.E.A.D. to donate to the teachers and students of Key Elementary School in an effort to prevent teachers from using their own money for books and to help students build their own home libraries.

AHC is providing summer camp for the kids in their housing, and the Arlington Rotary Club is excited to provide summer camp supplies for 60 of the elementary school campers! #arlingtonrotary

The Arlington Rotary Club inducted new officers today! Former President Chelsi Dildine was excited to welcome Current President Tony Weaver as the new head of the club and is looking forward to supporting him and his efforts in the community in the year ahead.
