After keeping Artsakh under siege for 9 months, starving the population, attacking sovereign Armenia, and now launching a large-scale offensive against Artsakh, it is clear that Baku's intent is to ethnically cleanse Arstakh of its indigenous people.

Following the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh, full humanitarian access must be provided. Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians must be guaranteed safety and dignity. The UK should work with international partners, the EU, OSCE and UN to urge dialogue, respect for int law and human rights.

Behind terms like ethnic cleansing, refugees, and reintegration are human lives and faces. The tragedy in Nagorno Karabakh represents the human cost of war, aggression, and violence. Armenians in Nagorno Karabakh had names and faces; their lives are shattered, as are ours.

As thousands of forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh are now flooding into Armenia, I'm curious to know what the United Nations office in Armenia with it's relevant agencies @UNHCR UNICEF UN Humanitarian UN Human Rights is doing to alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe.
