Steve Dixon and Matt Broughan, from HQ 1 UK Div, are currently taking it in turns to cycle the distance from York to Land's End on an assault bike - a total of 462 miles (744km) - in aid of ABF The Soldiers' Charity. They hope to complete the challenge in 35 hours.1 (UK) Division

Major Sarah Watson of the Div HQ has deployed to Kenya on Exercise ASKARI STORM with CO 2 RIFLES. After the exercise she took the time to visit the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and visit the grave of Sudan, the last male Northern White Rhino. #teamrhino

IT was a pleasure to welcome @i3_gen to York to deliver some excellent 'Social Media Effectivenes' training today. There was representation not only 1 (UK) Division but from The Iron Division and @Force_Troops - both regular and reserves and Pte to Major!

On Peninsular Day Headquarters Staff attended York Minster in an act of rededication to recognise the formation of the Division in 1809. It was also an opportunity to remember the sacrifices of those who went before us.
