A lovely colleague passed away earlier this week at far too young an age (29) and members of my department are shocked and devastated. There is no obituary yet, but two weeks ago she posted her first preprint on ArXiv so I'm sharing it in her honour ❤️ arxiv.org/abs/2404.09680

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mohabat Tarkeshian earlier this week. mohabat completed her PhD in Math last year and has since been an assistant professor at StFX University She touched the lives of many with her warm heart, energetic spirit, and dedication. 👇

Mohabat will be deeply missed by her colleagues, friends, students, and the academic community. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Rest in peace, Mohabat.
