Due to the severe weather threat from Hurricane Helene, including potential tornadoes, high winds, and flooding, Asheboro City Schools will be CLOSED Friday, Sept. 27, 2024 for students; Optional Teacher Workday for staff. After-school events and activities are also canceled.

ACS will operate with an EARLY RELEASE schedule on FRI, JAN 10. All athletics, activities, and elementary afterschool care programs, are cancelled. —ECDC and elementary schools dismissal: 11:30 a.m. —Middle School dismissal: 12:20 p.m. —AHS dismissal: 12:30 p.m.

All Asheboro City Schools will be CLOSED to students on Monday, January 13, 2025. The day will operate as an Optional Teacher Workday for staff.
