New paper where we integrate 3D histology (CODA) with IHC and imaging mass cytometry (IMC) to produce 3D single-cell immune maps in the vicinity of pancreatic precursor lesions (PanINs). Read about CODA+IHC/IMC = 3D immune maps here: biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…

3D analysis of PanINs & associated inflammatory milieu is fascinating, showing how the immune suppressive microenvironment in #PancreaticCancer is baked in really early on in microscopic precursor lesions. Preprint by Ashley Kiemen Denis Wirtz Laura DeLong Wood Ralph Hruban

I’m very excited to share this preprint! Using CODA to co-register serial H&E with IHC images, we map CD45+ cells around PanINs to identify striking heterogeneity in 3D and distinct immune hotspots and cold spots

Taking a precancerous lesion for a spin. Via color coding, we show how the content in different tissue components (immune cells, fat, ducts, islets, blood vessels, etc) in the proximity of that pancreatic lesion. More on CODA+IHC here: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Not the official Science Advances cover of this month, but you can still find it in the current issue! Check our latest paper where we used 3D-CODA to design assembloids that mimic the complexity of human fallopian tubes. Paper:science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Thrilled to report Patho-DBiT, just published in Cell 😊. It allows us to directly “see” all kinds of RNA species on the same clinical FFPE tissue slide, including mRNA, miRNA, snRNA, snoRNA, tRNA, etc, and splicing isoforms, genetic alterations (SNV, CNV, etc). Really a fun,

Our paper was recently featured: nature.com/articles/s4159… > We demonstrated how 3D-CODA imaging can be used to iteratively refine assembloid design by mapping their 3D tissue structures and comparing to in vivo tissue, ultimately improving the assembloids' structural accuracy.

Excited to share our new paper, where we integrate 3D imaging and nuclear segmentation to profile cellular neighborhoods in human pancreas. We demonstrate spatial immune patterns and microenvironment heterogeneity missed in 2D. A scalable pipeline for high-res tissue analysis.
