Today, RTSA, LCC & ZP joined UNZA Cultural Day to raise awareness on pedestrian safety. Students were urged to use the footbridge & wear reflective gear to stay safe on the road avoid crossing the road while drunk, using headphones, or on the phone.

Mtendere Pledges Road Safety The RTSA, in partnership with PAPECA, DEC, ZP& ZRST, is conducting a road safety sensitisation at Mtendere Market. Pedestrians, cyclists, bus drivers & wheelbarrow pushers received safety materials incl. reflective vests & Highway Codes.

Slow down to 30km/h in school zones and always give way to pedestrians! St. Patrick’s Primary School crossing has been upgraded with a larger, standard pedestrian crossing and 4 new road signs (2 school zone, 2 pedestrian crossing). Let’s keep our children safe!

The RTSA held a road safety sensitisation session with staff at Chilanga Cement PLC, highlighting Zambia’s road crash stats, common causes of RTCs & driver distractions. Staff were urged to follow road rules and regulations to protect their lives & others.
