The past weeks at Houston Methodist's CV Surgery Dept under Dr. Mahesh Ramchandani's mentorship were phenomenal! Observed mesmerizing 🫀🫁 surgeries: minimally invasive CABGs with EVH & robotic-assisted surgeries - best part hands down was using the DaVinci skills simulator! Grateful 🙏

Definitely the highlight of my research career! This plenary talk would not have been possible without the incredible mentorship of Mustafa Raoof and the continued support of Laleh Melstrom and Yuman Fong and the whole City of Hope Surgery !! #SSO2024

Thank you to SURGERY Journal for the opportunity to publish important findings on improving trauma care in low-resource settings using lessons from high-income countries. We discuss overcoming challenges in LMICs and building trauma registries as a means to evolve trauma care 📈🏥

Thrilled to share our recent publication in JAMA Network Open - we evaluated the quality of trauma surgery podcasts and indicated the need for proper disclosure of conflicts of interest. More transparency can lead to stronger, more credible content! jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…
