40 years ago today, Sally Ride became the first American woman in space. After nine years in NASA, Ride went on to be a professor at UC San Diego. In 2022, @astrosarasabry became the first Egyptian in space. Sabry is working on her own PhD in Space Sciences at U of North Dakota.
