I am sad over d collapse of the Saint Academy building in Plateau on innocent school children. A family lost four of their children! JMDB should enforce the required standard for buildings in the state. May God comfort those who lost their loved ones and heal the injured

I am excited about the efforts of Wole Soyinka Centre in advocating for gender parity in the media space. I am even more excited that WSCIJ is celebrating its 10th anniversary and will unveil the Female Expert Source Guide website. Join online here: bit.ly/RW10th

On this day, I acknowledge the efforts of the Girl-child to thrive in spite structural societal challenges. The Malala Fund reports that 120 million girls remain out of school, including 8.5 million adolescents, but we remain resilient! girls.#theinternationaldayofthegirlchild

Interesting, but there is a scent free BE SCENT AWARE During a recent visit to StFX University in Canada, I was constantly reminded of one very unexpected rule — the university’s strict scent-free policy. Is this a public health conversation we should start having?

Behind the silence are real lives. This #InternationalWidowsDay, read Asumata Martha Agas story supported by the Wole Soyinka Centre, on how cultural barriers and conflict strip widowed small-scale farmers in Plateau of land, livelihood and dignity. 🔗bit.ly/4n2u9NQ
